VDO Dashboards Cluster Display LCD Pixel Repair For Mercedes Benz A/B Class W245 W169 24pin

For Mercedes A∕B Class (from 2004 models). Available in 7 and 8 volts version. You don’t have to solder it but inserted in the connector on the board.
Special Mercedes removal hooks are needed to remove instrument cluster (easily could be bough at ebay or from MB). Cluster must be removed from the vehicle and its rear cover removed (4 screws). During the measuring cluster must be powered up. You can do it either connecting it back to the vehicle and turn on ignition to position 2, or it is also possible to power it up without the car (12V external power supply at least 1A). Turn on the dashboard（white connector：PIN no.1 GND;PIN no.5，PIN no.6 +12v）and use a multi-meter to check the voltage between the points. If it goes from -6.8v and -7.2v you have to put 7V display on. If the voltage is included between -7.8v and -8.2v, you have to install 8v display.
