NOTE If you are thinking of upgrading to the Police & Taxi Strut Read This. Physically, the strut will bolt into the vehicle. However, they are each designed to work with a specific spring rate and vehicle load. To achieve the best ride and handling possible, your customer should use what is recommended for his/her vehicle. Usually the police version can be identified by an “Interceptor” badge on the outside of the vehicle. You may have to have the dealership run the VIN to be sure, but 99.9% of the police version vehicles were used by police departments, and do show signs of that use (spotlights, holes in the roof from light bars, etc.) IF YOU PURCHASE THESE STRUTS FOR A CONVERSION THERE IS NO EXCHANGE WARRANTY or RETURN
